Diamond Vogel, a family-owned coatings company of almost one hundred years, has an immediate opening for a Chief Operating Officer. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a Senior Leadership position that oversees all Engineering, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, Maintenance and Procurement functions. The individual exhibits the ability to create a “team” and provides great leadership, mentoring, and vision for all operations.
This individual is part of the Senior Leadership Team, exhibiting the ability to effectively collaborate with all functions within Diamond Vogel. The COO is an effective project manager and has significant manufacturing and automation experience, including experience utilizing continuous improvement tools such as six sigma and lean manufacturing. The COO is responsible for developing strategy as well as managing, mentoring, and disciplining all direct reports.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic plan for operations
Develop and implement appropriate KPI’s for all aspects of operations
Understand and manage all respective budgets
Identify gaps that need to be overcome in the professional development of our operation’s employee group

Education and Experience
Engineering Degree, MBA, or proven experience preferred
10+ years managing management level engineering and operations personnel
