About the role:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical/Process Controls Intern to assist our Operational Technology (OT) team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for community college students to gain hands-on experience in the design, planning, and implementation of industrial controls for production equipment at various locations. The intern will contribute to automation projects and help maintain and update technical documentation.

What you’ll do:
Collaborate with the OT team to design, plan, and implement industrial control systems for production equipment.
Assist in the development and refinement of Automation Specifications.
Update and maintain technical drawings, schematics, and related documentation.
Support troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of control systems.
Provide assistance with on-site installations and upgrades as needed.
Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure successful project execution.
What skills and experience you’ll need:
- Currently enrolled in a community college, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Process Controls, Automation, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, industrial automation, or process control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
