Engineering/Electrical/Process Controls Intern

About the role: We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Engineering/Electrical/Process Controls Interns from both four-year colleges or community colleges to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic engineering environment, with opportunities to assist in various tasks, including updating technical documentation, working on process engineering projects, and shadowing experienced project managers. You will gain exposure to the interface between R&D, Quality Control (QC), and Production, enhancing your practical skills and understanding of the engineering process.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in updating technical drawings and engineering specifications to ensure accuracy and up-to-date documentation.

  • Shadow project managers and assist with tasks related to project planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Support process engineering efforts, helping to bridge the gap between Research & Development (R&D), Quality Control (QC), and Production teams.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, contributing to the optimization of production systems.

  • Perform additional project-related tasks as assigned, including troubleshooting and equipment/process analysis.

 

What skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year college or community college, pursuing a degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Controls, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles, process controls, or industrial systems.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks.

  • Willingness to learn and engage in hands-on tasks in an industrial setting.
