About the role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Intern to join our team. This internship offers community college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by assisting with daily maintenance tasks, inspections, and organizational responsibilities. The intern will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians and support inventory management while gaining valuable skills in the field.

What you’ll do:
Assist maintenance technicians with daily repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections.
Shadow maintenance technicians to observe and learn the procedures for various tasks, including preventive maintenance and machinery servicing.
Support maintenance crew leaders with the organization and documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
Help manage spare parts inventory, ensuring proper stock levels, accurate labeling, and storage.
Participate in the maintenance technician training program to develop technical skills and learn best practices.
What skills and experience you’ll need:
Currently enrolled in a community college, pursuing a degree or certificate in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and assist with hands-on tasks.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
