Project Management Intern

Diamond Vogel Is looking for a project management intern to lead small projects in the area of business process / systems improvement, enhancing our capabilities / effectiveness through people, process, and technology. You will lead a team of subject matter experts to implement one or more current continuous improvement projects. You may also be asked to assist with larger strategic projects. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized self-starter, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate should have experience or a studies focus in business, accounting, or information systems. Related background or focus in accounting, software, or general business is helpful.

What you’ll do: 

Depending on the current project(s) assigned, you may ask to do some or all of the following:

  • Planning, scheduling, and facilitating necessary project meetings

  • Own, Develop, and maintain project timelines and action plans

  • Report out to various organization leaders (directors, sr managers) as required.   

  • Liaison with external consultants / technical resources.

  • Research, evaluate, propose software tools, services

  • Review/develop various project deliverables including presentations, process documentation, proposals, data plans

  • Communication / escalate project needs to director of projects 

 

What skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university, pursuing a degree in business, accounting, information systems or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and technical documentation

The starting pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.
