Diamond Vogel has a long history of working with industrial manufacturers to provide them the coatings they need to protect and add value to the products they make. We’ve been supplying industrial wood coatings since the 1970s after acquiring several coating manufacturers that produced nitrocellulose lacquers. Today, our customers demand from their wood coatings more durability, application flexibility, economy, and compliance with government regulations than ever.
In 2010, Diamond Vogel started a major expansion into the industrial wood coatings market by entering into a license agreement with Hesse-Lignal of Germany and purchasing Fasse Paint Company in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. Fasse Paint was well versed in the industrial wood coatings industry with several innovative product lines and the expertise required for these type of projects. Diamond Vogel has built on the Fasse Paint reputation as an excellent resource for the industrial wood coating market by introducing new technology and support.
We have added research and development staff, customer support staff, and a dedicated industrial wood sales force. We are strong in traditional solvent based and acid cure finishes. The Hesse connection give us some unique capabilities in 2K polyurethane finishes and other European technology, and we have developed some revolutionary water base products that are unique to the industry for their application characteristics and quality feel.
